About Us

on-site custom sawing

We love what we do

Specializing in fine woodworking for the outdoor sportsman, I do all my woodwork in my small wood shop which includes a CNC router and Laser Cutter/Engraver along with various other traditional woodworking tools. We then sand, and hand finish for a long lasting product that you and I will be proud to display. We offer laser engraving on most of or items like our taxidermy mounting plaques, fly boxes and gun racks.

Trees that were harvested from a local construction site.

Our process

I handle my material every step of the way: from Tree to dried rough sawn lumber to a finished product.

Almost all of my lumber is "Urban Lumber" I have a great relationship with a local sawyer and I have access to a portable saw mill which we use to harvest our lumber and cut to our own specifications, I then have it dried in an local kiln. From there it comes to my shop where I turn it into a finished product.

“Urban Lumber” is wood that has been harvested from residences, businesses, city parks, and areas being cleared for development.  Most of these trees are chipped for mulch or buried in a landfill.  The magnitude of this “waste” is staggering.  According to the U.S. Forest Service, five billion board feet of usable lumber—about 1/3 of all hardwood lumber harvested in the U.S.—was cut from urban areas.  Nearly all of it was cut for firewood, chipped for mulch, or buried in a landfill.  At $.25 per board foot, that comes to $1.25 billion!  The value doubles to $2.5 billion, after the logs are sawn into boards.  .

In House Design

With a background in CAD and an eye for detail,  I can also offer custom woodworking services. I pride myself on being able to make almost anything you can imagine while providing rock solid design and stellar customer service. Your satisfaction is my main goal.
